Gateway

Basement Gateway

One address between AI agents and your SAP operation.

Agents such as Claude read your team's documents, tickets and SAP systems. SAP is read-only.

For Claude, Cursor, Codex and all MCP clients.

Agent connected to the Gateway

Example

Why did the billing job stop yesterday on SBX?

  1. Read the job runs job_runs read
  2. Read the runtime error explain_dump read
  3. Found the guide in the team's documents search read
  4. Created a task for a person to review create_task write
Example. The tool names are real. The question and the system are not.

What the agent gets

The agent uses what your team has.

  • Team knowledge

    Documents, files and skills in Basement, with versions.

  • Service desk

    Jira, Confluence, GLPI, MultiDados and all MCP servers. Each person connects their own account.

  • SAP, read-only

    Code, tables, runtime errors, jobs and transports. No tool changes the system.

How it works

Three steps. A person decides in each step.

  1. 01

    Connect

    Each person connects their own accounts. For SAP, the Basement Gateway app uses the VPN of the analyst's computer.

  2. 02

    Set the access

    Each agent gets an access level: read, or read and write, for each service.

  3. 03

    Monitor

    The activity log shows who called which tool, when, and the result.

Control

AI prepares. People decide.

  • SAP is read-only

    The 15 SAP tools only read.

  • Sealed SAP password

    Your computer seals the password. The Gateway cannot open it.

  • The agent acts as one person

    It uses only the connections of the person who connected it.

  • An access level for each agent

    Read, or read and write, for each service and folder.

  • Activity log

    The log records each call. It does not copy the content.

  • No passwords

    People sign in with an e-mail code or a passkey.

For programs

The same tools, from code.

Use the TypeScript SDK, the Python SDK or the HTTP API. A program has its own key and access level.

Program guide
First call in TypeScript
import {
  BasementGatewayClient,
} from "@basementai/gateway";

const basement = new BasementGatewayClient({
  apiKey: process.env.BASEMENT_API_KEY,
});

const me = await basement.whoami();
console.log(me.orgName);

Start

Connect your first agent.

Add this address as a connector in Claude. Then sign in with your e-mail.
